Mercy Hospital is recruiting an emergency medicine physician (Family Medicine trained are welcome) for four critical-access hospitals located outside of Fort Smith, AR in Ozark, Booneville, Paris, and Waldon. We are a hospital-employed group with no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one! - 25-bed, critical access hospital
- Annual ED volume of 5,000-10,000 patients
- Easy transfers (ground and air) to Mercy Hospital - Fort Smith, a trauma center and tertiary hospital within the same network
- Hospitalists available 24-hours per day for admissions
- No hospitalist work or inpatient rounding required
- MRI and CT available
- Basic emergency procedures are available including Glidescope and Ultrasound
- No trauma designation
- Less than 1.5 patients per hour on average
- EPIC EMR across Mercy
- Rated in the top 5% nationally for overall clinical excellence by Healthgrades
- Named in the top 100 critical-access hospitals in the US
