About the Opportunity
MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a highly collaborative and experienced team serving both Augusta and Waterville, Maine. You'll be part of a strong emergency medicine group committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our community.
What You'll Do
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care within a 24/7 Emergency Department
Work alongside 35 physicians and 2 physician assistants in a collegial, team-based environment
Rotate between two ED settings:
A regional medical center in Augusta
A free-standing emergency department in Waterville
Manage a combined annual ED volume of 58,000 visits
Work 9-hour shifts with robust clinical backup from more than 250 physicians, including Adult and Pediatric Hospitalist teams
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or relevant state licensure boards
