Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
Full-time commitment as an independent contractor requires 120 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care at Aiken Regional Medical Center, a 273-bed community hospital with a 30-bed emergency department, certified as a chest pain and stroke center.
Volume: 43K annual visits with 39 hours of daily physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage.
Deliver emergency care at The ER at Sweetwater, a 10-bed freestanding emergency department in North Augusta, GA.
Volume: 23K annual visits with 24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage daily.
Engage in teaching opportunities with APP students and internal/family medicine residents.
