Electrophysiologist El Camino Health Cardiovascular Specialists is seeking an well trained Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our growing electrophysiology program in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our group includes general, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiologists, with a large and growing network of referring physicians, expanding clinical locations, and a strong regional patient base. Opportunity Highlights Large and growing referral base from an established multispecialty cardiology group Rapidly expanding cardiovascular practice with multiple clinical locations Strong mentorship and a highly collegial physician environment Growing EP procedural volume with significant opportunity to develop and expand programs State-of-the-art electrophysiology technology and highly experienced laboratory staff Meaningful opportunity to help shape the future direction of the EP program Strong institutional commitment to innovation, quality, and patient-centered cardiovascular care Competitive compensation with shareholder track Excellent benefits, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and performance incentives Equitably shared call within a large cardiology group Exceptional Northern California location in the heart of Silicon Valley Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiologic disorders Perform electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablation and cardiac rhythm device implantation Evaluate and manage patients with atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular arrhythmias, and other complex rhythm disorders Implant and manage pacemakers, ICDs, and other cardiac rhythm management devices Provide inpatient electrophysiology consultations and hospital-based care Provide outpatient electrophysiology consultations, follow-up, and longitudinal patient management Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment strategies using contemporary, evidence-based approaches Collaborate closely with general and interventional cardiologists, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary cardiovascular team Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and ongoing care Participate in cardiology and electrophysiology call coverage Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and support a culture of patient safety and clinical excellence Contribute actively to the continued growth of the electrophysiology program and regional referral network Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of accredited fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Eligible for medical licensure in California DEA license required Strong clinical and procedural expertise in the evaluation and management of cardiac arrhythmias Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care Ability and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team Preferred Qualifications Experience performing catheter ablation and cardiac device implantation Experience managing complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias Experience with pacemaker and ICD implantation and management Experience with atrial fibrillation ablation and other advanced electrophysiology procedures Interest in program development, innovation, quality improvement, and/or clinical education Enthusiasm for helping build and expand a growing electrophysiology practice Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary with shareholder track Robust benefits package Paid CME, professional dues, and licensing expenses 401(k), cash-balance retirement plan, and HSA Signing bonus Relocation bonus Quality and performance incentives Malpractice insurance coverage Equitably shared call schedule within a large cardiology group This position offers the uncommon combination of an established cardiovascular practice and referral network with the opportunity to help build the next phase of a growing electrophysiology program.
