Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full‑time Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to join our established trauma service at Riverside Regional Medical Center, the regional hub for Riverside Health.
Position Highlights
- Full‑time schedule: 25 shifts per month
- Mix of 12‑hour primary trauma/acute care coverage and 12‑hour back‑up call
- Team structure:
- Six full‑time trauma/acute care surgeons
- Five full‑time Advanced Practice Providers
- Scope of practice:
- Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery
- Collaborative practice model with APPs
- Continuous teaching opportunities with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Emergency Medicine residents
- Compensation:
- Competitive base salary with incentives for production, finance, quality, and retention
- APP supervision stipend
- Opportunity to perform elective surgery for additional compensation when not on call

- Board Certified in General Surgery

- No history of license revocation, restriction, or susp
Education
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school (required)
Experience
- Successful completion of residency and fellowship (required)

- Valid, unrestricted DEA
