Job Description INTEGRIS Health Advanced Cardiopulmonary Care Program, is recruiting a Full-time, BC/BE pulmonary/critical care physician leader to start and grow an accredited INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE program at a quaternary care, large community hospital with lung transplant, advanced pulmonary, pulmonary hypertension, advanced heart failure, all solid organ transplantation and ECMO teams. Development of an accredited program in ILD within an advanced lung division including comprehensive outpatient clinic, diagnostics, multi-disciplinary conferences, clinical research and publications (optional and encouraged). Opportunities for rotation in a CV/Pulmonary ICU. Shifts are 7-day blocks, 6-8 weeks per year and general pulmonary consults. INTEGRIS Health Pulmonology is on the forefront of delivering advanced pulmonary care including Oklahoma's only lung transplant program and only accredited pulmonary hypertension program. Additionally, we have well developed ECMO, advanced heart failure and all solid organ transplant programs. Bronchoscopy suites are state of the art with EBUS, Ion, navigational, etc. Our impact extends across the INTEGRIS Health locations around the state, while also providing opportunities in full-time clinic operations, department leadership and quality-focused care. RESPONSIBILITIES The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team Ensures fiscal viability of the practice Complies with policies and procedures if applicable. The Physician is responsible for patients. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Must follow universal safety precautions. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
