As part of a thriving critical care enterprise, faculty members oversee a busy 36-bed critical care unit, with dedicated noctensivist support. Faculty schedules are intentionally designed to promote academic productivity, scholarly activity, and professional development. In addition, there are meaningful opportunities to help grow the divisions interventional pulmonology program, pulmonary hypertension program, cystic fibrosis program, and research efforts. Faculty benefit from a competitive academic base salary paired with excellent university benefits, including an 8% retirement match, tuition assistance, and potential performance incentives. The division operates within the University of Missouri School of Medicines broader partnership with MU Health Care and the university campus, an environment recognized for high employee engagement, national accolades, advanced healthcare technology, and the resources of Missouris largest public research institution.
