Location: Geneva, NY (Beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State, conveniently located near Rochester, NY)
A dedicated and skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary Medicine Physician is needed for a premier health organization in the Finger Lakes region of New York State.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Position Overview:
This role involves providing consultation and ongoing care for patients with pulmonary disorders (e.g., asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, etc.) Performs and interpret pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures, participates in multidisciplinary rounds in the ICU, collaborates with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted medical license in NYS or eligible to obtain
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine Critical Care
• Valid DEA license
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Skills and Certifications:
US Board Certified in Pain Management or
US Board Certified-Eligible in Pain Management
