Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center-Ft Worth is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and visionary physician leader to serve as Medical Director of our adult intensive care units. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-acuity critical care program and partner closely with hospital executives and nursing leadership to drive excellence in patient outcomes, quality, safety, and operational performance.
About the Role:
The Medical Director will provide clinical and administrative leadership for our MICU, SICU, CCU and CVICUs which total 40 ICU beds. This leader will oversee physician practice standards, quality and safety initiatives, operational performance, and interdisciplinary collaboration while ensuring delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered critical care.
This role includes protected administrative time commensurate with scope and responsibility.
Academic appointment with the Texas Christian University Burnett School of Medicine is available. Academic rank commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Physician Leadership
Provide overall medical oversight of the ICU.
Ensure continuous 24/7 intensivist coverage and appropriate staffing models.
Lead physician performance oversight, including peer review and professional practice evaluation.
