Full description

Critical Care Physician. Position available at Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc. in Charleston, WV. Provide clinical care services to patients & provide clinical supervision & teaching. Clinical care will be in Internal Medicine w/subspecialty in Critical Care Medicine. Physician will treat adult patients (18 yrs or older). Teaching duties will be in clinical setting during patient rounds at hospital & in a classroom. Physician will educate Medical Students, Residents, Fellows, & Advance Practice Providers during patient rounds, guiding & mentoring them. Teaching will also be conducted in a classroom with didactics & simulation training. Duties also include advising & providing input on course curriculum for our Critical Care Medicine Fellowship. Reqs: MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent degree. Completion of Residency in Internal Medicine. Completion of Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. Full and unrestricted West Virginia Medical License at the time of employment.
