Rochester Regional Health (RRH) and St. Lawrence Health are seeking an ambitious, collaborative, and forward-thinking Non-Invasive Cardiologist to help shape the future of cardiovascular care across the St. Lawrence Region, including Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Massena Hospital, and Gouverneur Hospital.

This is more than a traditional cardiology position - it is a unique opportunity to play a foundational role in the continued growth and advancement of a regional cardiovascular program serving an estimated referral population of more than 300,000 patients throughout the North Country.

Position Highlights

Specialty: Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (Board Eligibility required within 5 years of fellowship completion)
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Interest in clinical leadership, collaboration, and program development

Clinical Responsibilities

• Full-spectrum non-invasive cardiology practice
• Combination of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
• Outreach clinic coverage within the region
• Interpretation and performance of:
  • Echocardiography
  • Nuclear cardiology studies
  • Stress testing
  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

• Canton-Potsdam Hospital
• Massena Hospital

Call Coverage

• Shared 1:4 call schedule
• Call responsibilities consist primarily of phone consultation with Emergency Department physicians and Hospitalists
