Weill Cornell Medicine in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking an academic Board-Certified Cardiologist , with specialty training and experience in the field of advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation to join our expanding Division at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The candidate must have expertise and training in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac transplantation as we expand ourcardiac surgical services in Brooklyn. Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced heart failure, including those requiring mechanical circulatory support and transplant evaluation. Contribute to the continued growth and development of the heart failure program in Brooklyn. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30 cardiologists, including specialists in structural heart disease, electrophysiology, advanced imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery. Participate in academic activities, including teaching within residency and fellowship programs. Rotate through NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, maintaining exposure to cardiac transplantation and ventricular assist device therapy. NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital , in Park Slope, Brooklyn , an ACS-level II trauma center, with 651-beds, academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, cares for residents throughout Brooklyn and the surrounding areas. Our academic programs include nine graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs: including an Internal Medicine Residency Program and a Cardiology Fellowship Program.
