About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians in this role will provide inpatient pediatric cardiology coverage on a continuous schedule running Monday at 8:00 AM through the following Monday at 8:00 AM, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Responsibilities include managing pediatric cardiology hospital inpatients, providing consultations, reading in-house echocardiograms and electrocardiograms, and answering and responding to all service calls. Clinicians must discuss all potential transfers and ECMO candidates with the pediatric cardiology medical director and are responsible for providing and receiving sign-out at each coverage transition. Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
