About the Facility Location Southern Illinois is full of beautiful walking trails, waterfalls, and mountains! While on assignment, visit Ferne Clyffe State Park, Giant City State Park, or Shawnee National Forest! About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide general cardiology coverage across clinic and inpatient settings on an on-site basis in Illinois, managing conditions that include coronary artery disease, hypertension, and heart failure. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, encompassing clinic visits with a volume of 11-20 patients per day and inpatient rounding of 1-3 patients per day. After-hours call coverage is required and is structured as tele-only. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
