Lee Health is a non-profit organization with more than 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers and more than 830 employed primary care and specialty care providers with nearly 90 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds. Position Information Lee Health Heart Institute is recruiting to add a BE/BC Cardiologist, fellowship trained in Electrophysiology, to an existing multi-specialty cardiology practice with several advanced practice providers. EP services are in high demand in the Southwest Florida area. We are looking to grow this service line to meet community demand. EP Cardiologist will provide consults in the office and at HealthPark Hospital. Practice has two EP labs. Position will include complex ablations, cardioversions and lead extraction. Experience with the following procedures is strongly preferred: full array of device implantations, lead extractions and revisions, and his bundle pacing (HBP). General cardiology call will be no more than 1:4 to include evenings and weekend. EPs are rarely called in to the hospital. Practices are staffed with APPs and use EPIC for their medical records.
