Cardiology Hospitalist opportunity available with a growing private non-profit healthcare system in SC! McLeod Cardiology Associates is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our growing team at McLeod Regional Medical Center, a 517-bed tertiary care center and the flagship hospital of McLeod Health in Florence, South Carolina. This opportunity is a unique inpatient only cardio-hospitalist position with a 7 on/7 off schedule. The cardio-hospitalist Physician will manage the cardiology inpatient service working closely with residents and advanced practitioners. This Physician will join a collaborative group of 13 cardiologists within a well-established heart program, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care while helping to shape the next generation of physicians through bedside teaching, didactics, and mentorship for residents in a thriving community teaching environment. Academic appointment to the University of South Carolina Floyd School of Medicine is encouraged but optional. Board certification in echocardiography and competency in TEEs preferred.
