Position Highlights Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient management of patients with advanced heart failure and cardiomyopathy. Evaluate and manage patients requiring advanced heart failure therapies and complex cardiovascular care. Collaborate closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, and care coordinators. Participate in program development, quality initiatives, and clinical innovation efforts focused on improving patient outcomes. Contribute to the education and mentorship of team members and trainees as opportunities arise. Help advance regional cardiovascular services through evidence-based, patient-centered care. The physician will practice across Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center and Wellstar Cobb Medical Center, serving one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing regions in Georgia. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Demonstrated expertise in the management of complex heart failure patients. Experience with advanced heart failure therapies and multidisciplinary care models. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
