Our Mercy Oncology team in Fort Smith is powered by 2 radiation oncologist, 4 hematology oncologist, 7 advanced practitioners and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.
Mercy Radiation Oncology
- 3 Nurse Navigators specializing in Breast, Lung and General Oncology, dedicated Genetics APN and 2 Research Nurses
- Dedicated Breast Surgeon
- Dedicated Head and Neck Surgeon
- Call Coverage of only one hospital that is attached to the clinic
- All Varian Platform
- 2 linear accelerators with state of the art Varian TrueBeam STX as well as additional Varian 21EX
- HDR equipment available
- Onsite Philips Big Bore Brilliance CT Simulator
- Multidisciplinary tumor board on site weekly
- Teaching Affiliation with Arkansas Osteopathic School of Medicine with ability to have medical students in clinic with a stipend
- Opportunity to work with Mercy Fort Smith IM and FM residencies
- System wide EPIC EMR
