St. Francis is also rated among the top 10 hospitals in New York State as well as the New York Metropolitan Area. Awarded an “A” – the top grade for patient safety- by the Leapfrog Group over 23 times, the hospital has also earned the most “A” ratings in New York since the safety score debuted in 2012. St. Francis has also received a 5-Star Rating for patient satisfaction from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the fourth time in a row (July 2023) and is the only hospital in Nassau County to achieve the prestigious Magnet designation for excellence in nursing four consecutive times. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
