Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG) in New Jersey is expanding its endocrinology department and is seeking a Medical Director of Endocrinology to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG), the Medical Director of Endocrinology will provide clinical leadership while exemplifying the mission, vision, and values of the organization. This role involves championing new initiatives, guiding quality assurance efforts, and ensuring excellence in patient care. Our group currently consists of five endocrinologists, two nurse practitioners, and a dedicated ancillary staff, including diabetes educators.
CHMG offers comprehensive endocrinology services at our outpatient offices located in Hopewell, NJ; Bordentown, NJ; and Lower Makefield, PA. As part of the Capital Health System, our providers benefit from access to a wide range of in-house diagnostic testing and ancillary services. These include a full-service laboratory, DEXA scans, thyroid ultrasonography, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA), vascular diagnostic testing, and neurodiagnostic testing for diabetic neuropathy, among others.
Opportunity Details:

- Lead for Diabetes education program
- Supervise and teach Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows. Participate in the educational activities of the Endocrinology
- Serve on and lead hospital and medical staff committees
- Establish regular reporting mechanisms to monitor clinical activity
- Collaborate with the operations team to address variances and implement corrective actions
- Supervise and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs
- Ensure financial targets align with both short and long-term goals
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree, board certification in Endocrinology
- 5-10 years experience in Endocrinology practice with leadership responsibilities
- Experience in quality improvement and assurance programs preferred
