This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Education Debt Reduction Program: Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) Authorized: This position is eligible for EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. The incumbent is assigned as a clinician-educator to the Neurology Section of the Hospital and Specialty Medicine Department. The incumbent plays a major role in the Neurology Section's clinical, administrative, and educational consultative support to all inpatient services. The incumbent will provide educational training to Neurology resident physicians when present. Guide Fellows, Residents, and Medical students on a rotation from academic affiliates. Administrative duties could include sectional and medical subspecialty service responsibilities and serving on hospital committees. The incumbent will provide attendance at the Neurology consult service, providing comprehensive consultative support to all inpatient services. The incumbent will prescribe medication, perform minor procedures, injections, laboratory requests, and treat patients in an outpatient setting. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, inpatient call/rounding may also be necessary on weekends/holidays as staffing allows. Additional information will be provided during interview process.
