FSU/Lee Health is seeking an Internal Medicine/Transitional Year Faculty Physician to support the FSU College of Medicine's Internal Medicine and Transitional Year Residency Program! Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds. Gulf Coast Medical Center at Lee Health, in partnership with Florida State University, is launching a new 16:16:16 Internal Medicine Residency Program, and we are seeking trailblazing physicians to join our faculty. We are at the dawn of a new GME Academic Enterprise, with new programs in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, and multiple fellowships launching alongside us, building on the success of well-established programs at sister facilities in the Lee Health System. Faculty positions are available at both Gulf Coast Medical Center campus and the established Cape Coral campus in order to support the overall Academic Center growth and expansion. Lee Physician Group is seeking an Internal Medicine Faculty/Transitional Year Physician to provide clinical patient care and be responsible to teach and advise family medicine residents. Candidates for this position will be experts in evaluating competencies and will work closely with the Program Director and Associate Program Director to develop and implement a resident evaluation system.
