Job Summary:
Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our OB Hospitalist team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and midwives dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This physician will cover a minimum of 144 hours per month with a mix of 7 to 9 -14 hour night shifts (5p-7a) plus one to two, 24 hour weekend call shift (8a-8a) per month at Wellstar MCG Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage labor and delivery for assigned and unassigned patients
Shifts and deliveries at Wellstar MCG
Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Help oversee the OB ED
Collaborate with residents
Manage OB and GYN emergencies
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia
3+ years of experience
