Affiliated primarily with Community Medical Center, Toms River, the position is in-patient focused with a selective out-patient schedule (No nursing homes). Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists to guide diagnosis and management of infectious disease cases Interpret and recommend appropriate use of microbiological, serological, and molecular diagnostic studies Lead antibiotic stewardship initiatives in collaboration with pharmacy and hospital administration Participate in infection prevention and control activities within the hospital Manage HIV/AIDS and other complex immunocompromised patients in the inpatient setting Clinical (Outpatient — Limited) Conduct weekly outpatient clinic session for follow-up and infectious disease conditions Compensation & Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position if hired to work is $150,000 to $175,000 per year. The total compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
