As the regional Chief for St. Vincent's, you would be
reporting to theSystemDirector of InfectiousDisease andwould lead adepartmentof 4 physiciansbut wouldwith interactwithall 25 Infectious Disease physicians around the system as well. Responsibilitiesinclude(but are not limited to): • Continued growth of the Section of Infectious Disease
• Establishing communication lines with all services lines to provide support
• Mentorship of junior faculty
• Oversee the hospital epidemiology program, working closely with Infection Prevention
• Work closely with our Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists
• Inpatient consultations at St Vincent's Medical Center
• Outpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment,STDsand travel medicine
• System-wide collaboration with over 25ID physician colleagues
• Post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students
• Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level
• Noprimary care
• Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients
• Shared call with other ID physicians

- Board Certification in Infectious Disease
- Eligibility for Connecticut medical licensure
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience
Preferred - Prior leadership experience (e.g., Section Chief, Medical Director)
- Experience in a multi-site health system
Qualifications BC/BE Infectious disease physician licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of CT.
