Corewell Health West is seeking a Hematologist Oncologist with interest and expertise in classical and malignant hematology for our growing, nationally recognized program in West Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a physician who is passionate about advancing multidisciplinary care for individuals with blood disorders and hematologic malignancies, expanding access to innovative therapies and clinical trials, and building a destination program that serves patients across the region.
As a member of the hematology, oncology, and BMT division, you will partner with physician and APP colleagues across medical oncology, bone marrow transplant, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, genetics, hospitalist medicine, and palliative care to support a comprehensive, integrated hematology program focused on clinical excellence, innovation, research, and an exceptional patient experience.
Clinical Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive care for patients with blood disorders and hematologic malignancies.
* Deliver evidence-based, multidisciplinary treatment utilizing the latest systemic therapies, targeted agents, immunotherapies, and precision medicine approaches.
* Participate in shared inpatient and after-hours call responsibilities.
* Collaborate closely with support services, including genetics, nutrition, palliative care, rehabilitation, survivorship, and nurse navigation.

Qualifications
Required
* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
* Eligibility for unrestricted Michigan medical licensure.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical skills.
Preferred
* Clinical research experience with therapeutic trials.
* Interest in quality improvement, or program development.
* Academic accomplishments through publications, presentations, mentorship or teaching.
