Emergency Medicine Physician - Uniontown Hospital
System Medical Group is seeking a full-time physician to join our community emergency medicine practice. Competitive private practice compensation with the mission, vision, values, and connections to an academic health system. Practice emergency medicine with the right people for the right reasons.
Uniontown Hospital is a compassionate, dedicated community hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Fayette County and the surrounding areas for more than a century. Health care services provided at our acute and specialty care hospital include an award-winning Cardiology Department and catheterization lab, an award-winning Stroke Center, a state-of-the-art Wound Healing Center.
Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted state medical license in Pennsylvania. Candidates will have completed an accredited residency program and be board-certified or board-eligible via a recognized board within the American Board of Medical Specialties. Emergency Medicine Board Certification required.
The Department of Emergency Medicine through its academic and community practices serve over 550,000 patients across 23 locations across Appalachia. The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia's largest health system and the state's largest employer. WVUHS has more than 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees.
