Experience with heart failure patients is preferred. The Chief of Cardiology will be expected to provide comprehensive patient care in the form of consultative inpatient and outpatient Cardiology patient care at any of the Healthcare System (HCS) clinical locations. The physician will manage patients with ongoing Cardiology conditions, inpatient and outpatient, in collaboration with other services of the HCS. The incumbent is accountable to the Chief of Medicine assuring the most effective delivery of care in services within Medical Service. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assigned administrative and clinical supervision of all Physicians and APP's within Cardiology Service. Complete yearly proficiencies for all providers within the service. Interviews, examines, selects diagnostic testing appropriately, and interprets/collates results to coordinate patient care.
