Also on campus is The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center, where medical experts are performing the most brain tumor surgeries in New Jersey. Responsibilities
• Case assignments: Endo, General, Ortho, L&D2, Neuro, ENT, Urology and GYN
• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
• Schedule: Night - Float - 7:00pm to 7:00am - 26 weeks on 26 weeks off (2 weeks on 2 weeks off or 1 week on and 1 week off)
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
Hourly Rate: $625K
Sign-on Incentives: 100k
